Role: Accounting Manager

Persistence Recruitment on behalf of Jawraa, a prominent Saudi Digital Transformation company, is seeking a Finance Controller. Responsibilities:

Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead the development of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. Provide strategic insights and analysis to support decision-making processes. Monitor financial performance against targets and provide recommendations for improvement.

Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.

Risk Management: Identify financial risks and implement effective risk mitigation strategies. Monitor market trends, economic indicators, and industry developments to anticipate potential risks and opportunities. Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow forecasts and optimize liquidity to meet operational needs and financial obligations. Monitor cash balances, cash flow projections, and banking relationships. Implement strategies to optimize working capital and minimize borrowing costs.

Financial Operations: Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and payroll. Ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions and processes. Review and approve financial transactions and documentation.

Compliance and Audit: Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations, reporting obligations. Coordinate external audits liaise with auditors facilitate audit process. Implement recommendations from audit findings to strengthen internal controls and improve financial processes.

Financial Systems and Technology: Evaluate and implement financial systems and technology solutions to streamline processes, enhance reporting capabilities, improve efficiency. Leverage technology to automate routine tasks and improve data accuracy and integrity.

Financial Strategy Development: Contribute to development of long-term financial strategies business plans. Collaborate with senior management assess strategic initiatives, evaluate investment opportunities, drive sustainable growth.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field. Master's degree or CPA/CMA certification is preferred.
IFRS Diploma from ACCA a must-have.
Proven experience as a finance controller or similar role, preferably in the IT services or consulting industry.
Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, regulations.
Excellent analytical, strategic problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in financial management software systems.
Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
Strong leadership, decision-making interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail ability to prioritize manage multiple tasks effectively.

Key Job Requirements:
